Baking 101...

Do NOT ask me what to do!  I have no clue.

That's why I am so grateful to my sister Sarah for her expertise and willingness to share it with my kids.  She's quite patient with them too (but firm - no flour throwing but beater licking is ok).

Swim Lessons

A two pager about Rayna's first swimming lessons.  I hand cut the waves and then outlined them with crystal laquer to make them look wet. 

Sweet girl got private lessons because everyone dropped out except her.

She didn't want to put her face in the water at all. The teacher said, "Don't you want to get that pretty face of yours all wet?"

Rayna said, "No thank you!"  Such polite rejection.

Smarty Skirt

Ever since I had to go on a hunt for a wooden ruler without a metal edge on it for Serenity's school supply list, I have been dying to get it on a page.  Here it is.

My sweet Serenity looking darling on her first day of school, combined with a convo with her teacher in January.  Loving it.

That's right, she doesn't wear pants.  EVER!  Only time I got them on her all year was when we went to the Blueberry Farm our friend owns.  She remembered the scratched legs from previous years so she relented. Any weird clothes issues for you?  We know someone who is afraid of buttons.  Imagine it, no buttons on any of your clothes.

Eating Bunnies

Every year Grandpa gives the kids a big purdy's bunny.  I open them up, set the timer for 10 minutes and say, "GO!"

They gnaw away like crazy until the timer goes off.  Then they wait a few days and we do it all again.  Till the thing is gone or disgusting with drool (in Lucius's case).

What do you do with all your Easter candy?  Save it, gorge, give it away?

Pool Boy

Lately I have been dying for the heat and lazy days of summer.  So I was inspired to do this page.  It took about 15 minutes because all I did was enhance the already beautiful paper and add a few clouds.

My sweet little Lucius, climbed right in the freezing cold pool and stayed there.  He got sooo upset when I took him out because he was shivering!  Glad he likes it because we all love to swim. Do you love swimming?  What's your fave part of summer?

Friday Funnies - Go the @#$@ to sleep

For any parent who has had a child who just will NOT go to sleep - this book is HILARIOUS!

I highly recommend reading it or listening to Samuel L. Jackson read it!  Just Google it, it's there, but blogger won't let me put it here because of the curse words. LOL

Reindeer Obsessed

Every year at Christmas Serenity comes up with a new obsession.  This year it was reindeer.  One year it was the Grinch.  Yup, you heard right.  Santa was OUT, she wouldn't go anywhere near him.  But the Grinch was IN!

She loved Reindeer so much, she saw them everywhere.  And where they weren't, she created them.

Love my super creative girly with reindeer antlers sticking out of her head! LOL  What's your latest obsession?
