Q is for Quirky Pictures

I am participating in Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday.  If you want to see other participants or play along, click on the link on my sidebar!

Q is for Quirky Family Portraits drawn by Rayna and embellished by Serenity!  I found it hard to find a Q word LOL!

Some of you may have already heard this story - I am so glad to have scrapped it so quickly!
You can click on the picture to make it larger!

Do you take yearly family portraits?

I love to see how the girls portray themselves and their family. I think it is even more fun when they explain everything to you. It always brings a smile to my face. I really like the colors you chose for the LO. Beautiful job as always. :)

Hi Carrie,

It is hard to find something at the last minute especially when you have a litte family of 3 kids. You did really well. Thanks for the visit and sharing.

Anne-Marie with a dash!

I wish I was better about getting a regular family picture taken. . .I was just lamenting that the other day.

I need to get on the ball and just get it done.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great Q day!

Oh, so I am not alone loving all things Disney! :) YEAH!

Anyway, your scrapbooking layouts are way cool.

Thanks for visiting my blog -- it has been a pleasure to meet you. :)

Smiles,
Birgit

PS: I once saw Roy Disney when he held a little speech at the premiere of "Pocahontas" here in Munich, Germany. What a wonderful, magical evening...

Wow, what a great page! I haven't scrap booked in years...the boys' baby books stop at age 2...and they're 13 and 10. Got a lot of catching up to do! Thanks for the inspiration, and thanks for visiting Life is Good.

Hi Laterg8r,

I'm sorry to say that we have not had a professional family portrait made in over 16 years! One of those things that you always intend on doing but never manage to get it done!. Now, we have had plenty of impromptu Kodak moments which are equally as precious to our hearts.

Thanks for stopping by the farmhouse for a visit today! Hope you return soon.

I love this page! What a great keepsake, it may be valuable when she has work exhibited somewhere. But then again, it's already priceless :) Kathy

What a great way to keep things, this scrapbooking, much better than a big cardboard box full of photos.

Very cute. I love that you got all the details down to remember it later. I only wish I would make the time to scrapbook. What a great thing you are doing for your kids!

Your scrapbook pages are always fun to see. Love the way you journal for these pages. I've not done any scrapbooks in over a year. I need to get myself going again. Thanks for sharing these creative pieces.

What a fun post and what great journalling! I love how you are capturing all these moments for your family.

You are making such a treasure.

Did I tell you what I do on some of my scrapbook pages?

If the back is plain I write on them.

Like a quote or just an admiration of who's page it is.

I wonder if someday they might find it and get an extra little dose of love from a Grandma or a Mom that is long gone!

Your posts are always so enjoyable.

Thanks for making Alphabe-Thursday such a treasure!

A+

We haven't done a family picture since my boys were small...now that I have a new daughter-in-law, we should do it. We do have a nice wedding photo but my oldest son, who was deployed to Germany for several months - and left the week before the wedding - isn't in it!
