I really love that the girls like to go out and play even without any toys! We splashed and gathered flowers and rocks and had the best time!
I used a tree template that I had made from some Maya Road chipboard trees to make these clouds. Traced them, turned them on their side and cut them in 1/2! Easy Peasy!
I used only one sheet of the green paper to create my border and used another template i'd previously made for the cloudy shape.
I make templates from everything so I can use them again later. I trace onto the cardboard that comes with page protectors and on cereal boxes (thinner are better). Then I have the fancy shapes for free!
I didn't have a raindrop punch but realized that quotation marks looked like rain to me so I used them instead!
I also had to create some of my letters for my title. The funniest one is the K I made from an H. Gotta get the most use out of those thickers!
What do you do to save money on scrap supplies or to make them stretch?

I haven't stopped by in awhile! Love this layout! I think I'll stop by again later in the week when I'm not so busy! Thanks for visiting me.
A good walk and puddle jumping are some of my favorite rainy day activities. Loved that you were able to create that fun for your girls and wrap it up in a beautiful page.
Fantastic layout Carrie! Love those clouds and those fab "raindrops"! The colors are perfect too! Looks like you all had fun in the rain!
Carrie - These pictures are so fun - they do look like they are so happy splashing around - even Skyler looks like she is enjoying watching. lucky girls to have you allow them to have fun in the puddles. These pages look great with the fun border, & clouds. So creative to turn those quotes into raindrops! Colors go well to. Love, Mum
If you hadn't mentioned quotation marks, I'd never have known. They look like rain to me too! Awesome!
