Family Time

The girls always love having Nana and Auntie Sarah visit.  They make it possible to go to the park and have loads of fun (instead of a frazzled mom)!

I love that my girls are so close to my family and look forward to their visits each and every time!  My Nana lived with us for part of my childhood and I have such fond memories of her.
One of my crazier memories of my Nana is when I almost killed her!  Yup, a sick kid left alone with a thermometer and a hot cup of tea.  I couldn't resist sticking it in and it exploded.  I didn't know what to do.  Luckily, I never let her drink the mercury/glass combo - I fessed up as soon as she picked up the cup!

Do you have any crazy Nana moments?

That's a hilarious story! I don't have anything that crazy to share. My mom's mother was a bit nuts and prone to disappearing with us and not coming back for hours, so we didn't spend too much time alone with her! My dad's mom was sweet and calm and she taught me to knit and always bought us books. I miss her still!
Looks like your girls are making lots of fond memories with their Nana and Auntie. Lovely page!

I love this picture with everyone squished in and the day so beautiful. :) The paper is perfect! Crazy Nana moments...nothing really crazy but I remember very clearly grabbing her hand and dragging her EVERYWHERE on sports day. I am pretty sure I ran her ragged. :)

Wonderful layout! Beautiful! We use "Nana" as well, my Mom's mom was Nana and my mother did not want to be called Grandma, lol.

I have very fond memories of my Nana - she always made the yummiest Chocolate popcorn balls at Halloween and Pudding at Christmas! She always had the best natural looking real Christmas tree. And I always remember her reading to us four children in the van while Mom attended her doctor or chiropractic apts - it was much easier that carting us all over creation! These aren't exactly crazy Nana stories, but they are fond memories for sure.
Happy Weekend!

Cute layout Carrie! My granny was all of about 4.5" tall if that. I always thought she was so cute!

This is such a great photo of such a fun, gorgeous day. Your layout makes it look so festive too. Like the flags at the top.

I never had a Nana but had 2 Grandmothers who unfortunately I only had in my early teens. They both however left me with lasting wonderful memories. I felt so loved & special by both of them. Miss them both.
