Do your kids ever ignore you even though you are standing right in front of them?
Do you wonder if they should have their hearing checked?
Well then try this technique:
When I saw the Hambly tree rub ons I immediately thought of the commercial "can you hear me now?" where they show the amount of reception bars by using buildings and such!
Do you ever pretend you don't hear when someone is talking to you?

Hee hee love the tree signal bars! lol I try to pay attention whenever someone is talking to me but yes, sometimes my hubby doesn't get the ear he deserves! lol

Awesome LO, love the trees!!!
Wel, when my son is tired of talking to me on the phone he makes fake crackling sounds and says "Mom, you're crackin up, can't hear you." heheh
This layout is wonderful, I laughed at the story it's terrific! Beth
This is just fantastic! I love the tress - just too funny & yes & yes to the questions! tee-hee!
ah hah hah! you crack me up...i REALLY am going to have to try that!!!! good one!!!! i loved how the layout turned out!
Really really cute Carrie...totally cracked me up! :)
I'm guilty of pretending not to hear when someone talks to me...usually strangers of the male kind...I get into a lot of trouble just by smiling and I've been stalked :(
This layout is fabulous and I love the story! I am going to try that the next time my boys don't listen - as in "time for the bath". I often say "Earth to...." but I doubt they even get it!?! It's pretty rare that I would pretend not to hear, but hubby does it all the time, I'm sure of it! Have a good one!
Shanna :)
p.s. Thanks for your kind comments the other day, that was so nice of you!
What a clever and beautiful layout my friend! I don't ever pretend like I don't hear, my man is very good at it though...it's called selective hearing!
Love and hugs,
Kayrn
Cute layout! And yes, my son has selective hearing... never comes to dinner on time, claims he didn't hear us, but I swear he answers us at least once or twice! LOL.
I had no idea toy phones had reception. I'll bet they have better rates than Verizon!
If I am lost in thought (or a book) I can have someone stand right beside me and I will genuinely not hear a word they said. :) I have great powers of concentration.
