There is nothing funnier than going to a wedding and seeing the flower girls totally mess up! Except maybe when they are your own kids!
My first rose flower (google paper rose tutorial and you can learn how to make them). They are so pretty but a pain to make and then when i was done it stood up at least an inch off the page so i hacked at the back of it till i got it a bit shorter! LOL Next time i'll try to do it a little differently. Anyone know any good tricks?

I know lots of readers have said that they admire my hand writing but this is my real handwriting. What everyone has admired is CK Ali's writing Font that I got for free from CK once upon a time and adopted for my own! LOL It lends continuity to my scrapbook pages in a very subtle way because I use it for almost all my journalling.

hilarious story....i soooo love it when the kids do funny things at weddings....it's PERFECT that way! they DID do well for 2 & 3...soo cute!
paper roses are much easier to make if you are using grunge paper, there is lots of flexibility ... i find you always have to cut them down in order to keep them from being too tall ... they loads of fun! yours turned out beautifully!
They were super adorable and soooo hilarious. I love the rose. Absolutely beautiful. You picked great pictures for the page. I thought their wedding topper was great. You are making me feel guilty for not scapping this event! Bad sister. LOL
Love that rose!! Beautiful :) When hubby and I got married in Kauai we were running late to meet them at our spot we'd picked out at the beach to get married. I had to sit in the back of our rental car while he drove due to my dress being so poofy :) Well halfway to the beach I realized I forgot our marriage license! Oh Hubby was stressed...hee hee. We had to turn around and race back to get it but we made it back in time to get married. It was the best day ever!

Another beautiful layout, love the rose! Sorry, no tips to share unfortunately! My wedding was pretty uneventful, i let my flower girls go barefoot down the aisle. lol

Love that flower! I don't like stuff sticking out too much on my layouts...so hard to keep in those albums...so I always use them on altered projects instead! :)
Your girls are just so precious. And I love that paper rose. I wreath covers in those would be magnificent. I saw (who knows where) a rose made out of newsprint and then lightly washed with watercolors that was really neat and different! I had to laugh about it sticking up too high so you couldn't close the book! It's too bad you couldn't have cut a little hole out of the other pages so it could nestle in there. OK, back to the list here! Good morning!
Haha! This is great! I LOVE the story about the girls! At my wedding, I guess my nephew got tired of standing, so he sat down and blew spit bubbles. lol Something he definetely knows better than to do, but I guess 5 yr boys will be 5 yr boys. lol
