I'm 5

I love the idea of getting your kids to hold up how many 'fingers' they are on their birthdays!

I will definitely do a compilation page after their 10th birthdays to show how much they've changed over the years.

This is a very simple page for me but I love how the white paint contrasts so nicely with the purple paper.
I was going to embellish the butterflies but they looked better plain white.

So thrilled to be working my way through the birthday pages!  I find them hard to scrap.

What do you have difficulty scrapping?

I love this page--you can't go wrong with butterflies, and now I have a good idea for birthday pictures too. It never occurred to me to have them hold their fingers up!! Thanks!

Love this page. Yes it is simple but thats what makes it stand out. The fact you only have a few bits and pieces in contrasting colours is what makes this striking! Well done!
I also love what you have done with holding up the fingers for how old they are truning! You have just given me another idea, but both my girls just had their birthdays so will have to wait till next year no..lol.
I really like how you ask a a question at end of each post. It always gets me thinking.
To answer this question...i have a hard time scrapping my self. Which is wrong, because I am always behind the camera, the video camera, and now behind the scrapping layouts LOl..my kids will hardly know what I looked like i think!
Have a great day!

My favorite element is the white circles. It turned out really cool. My favorite number of fingers to hold up is three. It is amazing the different ways a three year old will come up with for three. :)
Birthdays are hard to scrap for me but you have been giving me great ideas lately. :)

HOW CUTE!!! I love the banner going across! I am having a hard time bringing myself to scrap pages with my brother in them. HE was the reason I started scrapping. After we lost him I did not want to forget all the 18 years of memories. BUT- I have only scrappe done page of "my days" and have focused all on Matthew. I think b/c it's hard and when I look at all the pics and have all those memories, it makes me really upset to know I don't have him here. It's therapy of sorts.....and I have yet to make an appointment :)
One day though! One day!!!!!

SO sorry I haven't been here too much lately! You know, the "31 days" thing, ugh!

I wish I was as smart as you! I didn't think to have the boys hold up fingers! I should make them do it now. WOuld that be weird? TO maake my 14 year old pretend to be 5?

Lovely page! LOVE the flags!
