Have you ever had your kid refuse to wear their Halloween costume? This is the story of how that happened to us!

 

 

 

Love the idea of using little scraps, brads, word stickers and smooch as tiny embellies. I will do this again!

Why oh Why don't nurses listen to me? I tell them that my veins like to hide and that no nurse for the last 5 years has been able to get blood or put an IV in my arm and yet they still try!!! It's like my translucent skin with veins so bright calls to them, poke me!!!! Or they think I am throwing down the gauntlet and testing their nurses skills! Then this is what I get! Blown veins and a bruise the size of Texas that hurts like hell! I swear the next one to try it is gonna get it!

I had my Lithotripsy done and this is what the machine looks like. They take that curved portion of the bed out and put a jello mold (LOL) next to your back and shoot shock waves at it! The anesthesiologist said it is like getting whipped in the back with a wet towel, which might be funny the first 5 times but I got it 5000 times! Thank goodness for morphine!!!

I am apparently supposed to take it easy and not make any "major life decisions" in the next 24 hours because I am legally impaired LOL!!! Fingers crossed that this actually worked!
