I was tagged by Yummy Mummy on a Park Bench (totally cool blog name) to participate in a fun Christmas meme (I actually have no idea what a "meme" is, I thought that meant Grandma???)
1. Have you started your Christmas shopping? - I'm done - wooo hoooo!!!! (but, of course, if i see anything while i'm out and about i'll probably buy it)
2. Tell me about one of your special traditions. - I love getting the girls into their matching pj's on Christmas Eve and giving them one present to open. We usually go out and look at Christmas lights and this year we might combine both and let them wear their pj's out to look at the lights on Christmas Eve!
3. When do you put up your Tree? - Usually a week or so before Christmas! I can only take about a week of trying to keep the babies away from the tree and then i'm DONE! LOL
4. Are you a Black Friday shopper? - Nope, I live in Canada!!!
5. Do you travel at Christmas or stay home? - Stay home in the morning, travel to my mom's in the afternoon!
6. What is your funniest Christmas memory? - The year I peeked at all the Christmas gifts and thought I was getting a hand held video game -only to find out on Christmas Day that it was for my Dad! LOL You'd think that would cure me of the peeking but it didn't. Snuffy used to hide my gifts at his parent's house and then wake up early Christmas morning and go get them so I couldn't peek, shake or open them early!
7. What is your favorite Christmas Movie of All time? - White Christmas, with Die Hard coming a close second LOL!
8. Do you do your own Christmas Baking, what’s your favorite treat? - HA HA HA! I can't even bake ornaments - jump to this post and you can see the disaster!
9. Fake or Real Tree? - REAL! I think hacking at things with an axe is therapeutic LOL!
10. What day does the actual panic set in to get it all done? - December 1st!
11. Are you still wrapping presents on Christmas Eve? - Nope, usually done before then!
12. What is your favorite family fun time at Christmas? - Chopping down the tree, making crafts and watching lights with the girls - it's great to see the wonder in their eyes!
14. Christmas music? Yes or No, and if yes What is your favorite song? - Yes, my fave is Bing Crosby or Frank Sinatra singing "I'll be home for Christmas!"
15. When do you plan to finish all your shopping? - I always PLAN to finish by December 1st but it hasn't happened yet!
