We went to see the Festival of Trees (4 Seasons Hotel) and Gingerbread Lane (Hyatt) and had a hoot! I think it put us all in the Christmassy spirit even if the girls all have colds!
This was my fave pic of the ornaments. I used my high ISO setting on my point and shoot and it turned out glowy (if you look REAL close in the silver ball you can see ME! LOL)
How cool is this McDonald's tree? Serenity said it was Skyler's favourite!
Rayna and Serenity really loved all the origami ladies on this tree.
This was the most original/unique tree. It was made out of cool fixtures like door stoppers and faucets! This was a mini tree beside it.This was Serenity's favourite - you can see she is beside herself with excitement over the dalmation puppy lights! Go fire fighters!
Betcha didn't know Santa was Canadian! Love the Maple Syrup ornaments on this one!
This might be an outtake to some but it's my fave pic LOL! My girls are total hams! Rayna was trying to be a reindeer!
This ornament totally reminded me of my brother LOL! No, he doesn't look like this, he does Kung Fu!
Which segues nicely into our time at Gingerbread Lane!
This is the world's largest Gingerbread House and it smells yummy! Good thing they had ropes up or my girls would have definitely taken a taste.
Look at the Princess Tea Party. Can you believe this was done by high school students?
The Elf Village was VERY well done, by a bakery!
The Olympic Village was cool! The girls loved seeing Quatchi, the mascot, because they've met him before! Unfortunately, the other two mascots were sliding off their cookies LOL! Little too warm for them!
This one was cool because of the story book and the tree actually rotated too!
The chef from the story and the cookies jumping out of the oven to get him!
My little Gingerbread girls!
What have you done that is Christmasy?

I wish we had something like this around here...love those pink boots on the girls!
We are going to see the Festival of Lights tomorrow night...hopefully it doesn't rain again.
What fun, I love that McDonald's tree! We haven't been able to get out and do anything Christmasy but I had fun watching White Christmas with my friends!
The pictures were wonderful but my favorite ones were of the children. They are SO cute!

soo much fun! sorry the girls all have colds. hmmm Christmasy?!? Well, I had two Christmas parties last weekend, my work Christmas lunch on Monday, tonight we are going to zoo lights at Pt Definace and then on Sunday I have another Christmas party to go to.
How fun and how wonderful that your girls got to see all of this Christmas goodness! Your photos are precious and to me...the most wonderful thing about Christmas is see all of the magic and wonder through the eyes of little children!
Love and hugs,
Karyn
That looks like a great time. I just love seeing the ornaments and the gingerbread. makes me think we should have gone "to the city" to see some displays like this. Thanks for swinging by my place.

WOW!!! Those are so cool!!!! I wish somewhere aruond here had a display like that!!!!
That looks like so much fun!!
I won't lie. The hamburger kind of stopped me in my tracks there for a minute. It's good I don't have hamburgers on my tree, or that's all we'd eat for the month of December!!
how wonderful! I have a friend who kept all her kids toys from Happy Meals and then put hooks on them for ornaments. She gave them their own little 3 foot tree and let them decorate it each year...it was soooooooooooo cute, I mean, really, who'da thunk?!
Awesome...we went to both here yesterday(Empress Hotel and The Laurel Point Inn) So festive!
Great pics!

Wow, what beautiful pictures! I really wish I could find something like this to take the kids to. Looks like you all had a blast :)
Fab photos - this looks like so much fun!
We did our "tree hunt" two weeks ago to cut down our real tree - unfortunately, I enjoyed it more than my boys who were tired that day. We had been at the house of a good friend (who has been feeling really down and discouraged)helping to decorate. The decorating party was a great deal of fun, even for the boys, so I don't mind so much that they were crabby for the tree hunt - can't win them all eh?
Shanna :)
we go see the waterfall of lights in our city!!! It's a outdoor skate park all lit up with lights!!! Great pics!
What a fun outing. That McDonalds tree cracked me up!
