Go fly a kite

Serenity REALLY wanted to fly a kite this day but we hadn't brought hers so she was a bit upset.  A total stranger said that she could try his - how nice!
The funny thing is that the next week she lost hers at the park, just let go and it flew up over the trees and far away! LOL
I made this kite by sandwiching a piece of orange felt between two diamond shaped pieces of patterned paper and then adding the raffia on top.  I also ran the raffia onto the picture so it looked like the kite was coming from it.
Really happy that the nice weather is here again!

What is your fave summer activity?

Carrie,
Love this page - it really looks like the kite is flying off the page into those clouds. Cool 3D. Wounderful how you captured this piece of time - Sarah & Serenity are so obviously enjoying this time. Great job.
