N is for No Kitchen

I am participating in Jenny's Alphabe-Thursday.  If you want to join in or just see other participants, click on the link on my sidebar.

This is a short post for me this week because we are all under the weather here!

I saw this notebook in Michaels and just knew I had to have it! LOL

Seriously, could you imagine a house without a kitchen?

Confession: I LOATHE cooking.  It's so boring!  I wish I was rich enough to have someone make all our meals for us!  I would rather clean and do laundry all day than cook.  LOL!

What do you wish you were rich enough to have done for you?

I hate to clean too! Why don't you come clean my house and I'll cook for you! Oh the fun we could have :-)

I'm with you, if I could I would hire someone to cook (and do the clean up). Although hubby finally cooks a few meals a week so can't complain too much.

Oh, I'm a lucky woman! My husband loves to cook and does most of it around our home. I set the tables and clean up the kitchen. Love the arrangement!

I'm with a lot of others and would go with someone to clean my house. I really don't like it at all. It pretty much seems useless because its never done. The next day you pretty much have to do it again Ugh!

I love to cook but since hsband left it holds no interest for me. I hate Housework

Too bad we don't live closer. We could swap chores. I love to cook, detest laundry and cleaning. We'd make quite a pair! Kathy

i totally need someone to come clean for me ... i hate it with a passion ... my daughter does most of it, it's how she works our her exam anxiety during the school year ... now that schools out ... eeeks!

I LOVE to cook. I find it relaxing, and I don't even mind the clean up. You get such a nice before and after. But I HATE cleaning. I'd gotten really spoiled. When I was working I had two wonderful teenage girls who cleaned for me, and now that I lost my job, I'm back to doing it myself. Blech.

In my home, the kitchen is "Man Land", 24 x 7, 365 days a year.

We have a big kitchen. I would turn it into a play room for me. :)

I like to cook when there are other people to cook for. Cooking for one is way less fun. I wish I was rich enough to buy the weird, expensive, rarely used ingredients to try new recipes and not feel guilty about wasting them if I don't like them. I don't mind laundry or other chores either. It is totally mindless so I have time to think of other things.

I want someone else to clean the house and even just one time would make me happier than I can express. sigh.. someday I hope.

I am the opposite of you. I would love to have someone come clean up my mess from the cooking I have done each day. And while they are at it my bathroom, floors the list goes on. I do the housework but I rather not.

If I were rich enough, I would have a cook and a housemaid! I hate all those things that you mention.

Hope everyone feeling better soon!

Very cute!
If I was RICH I'd still cook but I'd have someone come in afterwards to clean up.
I'd garden, but I'd have someone come in to to the boring bits.
I'd still sew, but I'd hire someone to do all the hemming (I'm short!)
.....and I'd have someone bring me a cup of tea and a cookie every afternoon.

that is a great line, don't care much for cooking either, I would definitely want some one to come and cook for

thanks for your visit

Hi Tink..havent been here in a bit.
Love that book!!!
But I do like to cook...i love to feed people..it must be our italian household..but I hate cleaning up after it.
Everyday its ..dishes, laundry & basic cleaning..if someone could do that for me on a daily basis I would have more time for sketching & painting...oh well , One can dream right?

It would be nice to have help cleaning the house. But I actually do like to cook. :-)

I will do all the cleaning, cooking, baking, and laundry if someone would be able to effectively nag my children about getting their chores and their homework done and on time. Joni

I so agree with your post about hating to cook or bake...I do neither.I would really like someone to clean my house (bathrooms in particular) and dust my baseboards. I hate cleaning the baseboards and loathe the bathrooms!

Kim @ Starshine Chic said...

I hate to cook as well. But I hate cleaning more. So I would love to be rich enough for a maid. And a cook. Heck, if I'm dreaming, I wish I had someone to do all my chores. And then I could have fun all the time and maybe have time to do some crafting.

I used to hate cooking, no I actually hated the day to day cooking. I actually liked preparing special things. Now that the kids have flown the coop, I only cook 3-4 nights a week, because we have too many leftovers (haven't quite mastered cooking for two, yet). And most of those meals are pretty simple these days.

I love to cook! but I hate the clean up part.... I make a pretty big mess when I'm cooking, luckily DH doesn't mind doing the dishes after I've cooked. I'd love to have someone doing the laundry and ironing... I loathe that job!

Good morning. I'm sorry you're not feeling well. That seems to be really hanging on there.

What a clever post.

Hmmm.... what would I have done?

Definitely de-pooping the yard...yea...that one for sure!

Thanks for a fun, albeit germ-y, stop on my little journey through Alphabe-Thursday's Letter "N"!

A+

Someone to clean my house. I want an Alice. I have more kids than Mrs. Brady, I need a full time lady in an uniform to cook, clean, do laundry and oh while I am at it I would love a chauffeur for my kids.
