This is my little Skyler Angel at Christmas hanging onto the couch before she could even walk.
I attempted my first zipper flower and love how it turned out. Linda at Craftaholics Anonymous has a great tutorial on how to make them. Linda had made flowers for shoes, necklace, headbands and bracelettes but I thought they'd be great on a scrapbook page. She uses hot glue but since I didn't want any burning injuries today I used a needle and thread.
It was hard to find a zipper with silver teeth (they all seemed to have teeth that matched the zipper) but eventually I found a bunch at Walmart! Weirdly, once I took this picture at an angle I noticed that the flowers look like a Mickey Mouse head! What's your favourite flower technique?
