Take time to Smell the Flowers

I love these old pictures of Serenity and Rayna smelling the flowers in our front yard.
I used denim that I cut off the bottom of a pair of pants that I made into shorts to make these lollipop flowers.  I scraplifted this LO from Maggie Holmes in CK and she used scrunched paper and lace to make her flowers.  I am gonna try that!
Have you been taking time to relax and enjoy the summer?

So cute, love those flowers. My good friend here in South Florida loves to scrap book, I just went through her books for hours the other night...such a fun hobby!

Love the layout, the flowers and the patterned paper! I'm just trying to survive summer, counting down the weeks until school starts again and life gets back to "normal"!

Fun idea. I keep old demin to someday make a quilt with. But a few scraps for flowers would be fun too.

Cool flowers, love the stitching too! My idea of relaxing is finding a nice shade tree and stretching out with a book. We've managed to do this a couple of times for bedtime stories- really should do it more often!
