Do you remember Scrapbook Sally?

I've been scrapping a loooong time.  I started in the Creative Memories days and wasn't very fond of it at first.  "You want me to cut up my pictures?  YEAH RIGHT!!"  Anywhoooo, when I took out this 1000 year old scrapbook paper (the background) I looked on the back and who should I see but Scrapbook Sally.  Do you remember her?

I am looking to use up my stash and thought that this old piece of paper went fab with the new Bo Bunny paper.  Aren't my girls adorable in this swing?  It is soooo hard to get them all to even look at me at once!
What old scrapbooking trend or item do you remember?

PS - I got the inspiration for this page on the American Crafts blog (especially the stitched heart).

Yep, I remember Scrapbook Sally! I think I still have some blue pp in my stash from her. I bought a pack of pastel cardstock back in the day, and I'm bringing out the mint green for a Design Dollies challenge! Part of their elements challenge this week is to have 3 oval shapes on a project, and I thought I haven't used ovals since my CM days, so it will be a challenge!

I super duper like this page and the picture too! It looks so sweet and the colors are beautiful.
Trends? A million and one different kinds of scissors. That trend seemed to return later on as well. :)

Okay that stitched heart is really wonderful. perfect around your cuties. I don't know sally but an older trend....cutting photos with deco edge scissors. I didnt like that one, seems like photos would come out uneven and wonky!

that's an adorable layout and I have no clue who scrapbook sally was or is!

The only thing I remember is the scalloped scissors and mini punches.

Yep, I too have been scrapping that long! I didn't have any paper, but I have a Scrapbook Sally tote, and it still comes in handy when I don't need my huge CTMH roller bag! Great layout, love that photo of your girls! I have a hard enough time getting my two boys to pose, I would never manage with three!

Thanks for bringing up Scrapbook Sally. I designed that paper while I was pregnant with my second boy!! I remember wondering if I would ever have a girl to use the paper in her scrapbook. I have since had two girls! Thanks for the memories!
