I love this picture of my family - especially Snuffy LOL! The funny thing is that I was trying so hard to get a good picture of the four of them that I never ended up taking ANY pictures of the parade LOL!
It kept her busy for almost an hour and she was a sticky, icky mess afterwards!

Great layout - love the clouds! I'm sure I've missed some great photos ops, but what I'm mostly guilty of perhaps is trying too hard and missing out on the fun! Once in awhile I purposely leave my camera at home (what? I know, sounds crazy...) so that I get right in on the action, instead of experiencing the event from behind the lens! I'm sure you kwim. Adorable shots. I have a friend who is a professional photographer and some of my favorites that she has taken have been children walking away from her. One of her clients had a large portrait made to hang in their home. It is of the back of her three daughters taken in a park as they are looking over a bridge. She said she loved this because that is mostly how she sees her girls-followig behind them. The first was taken when they were little. She had the same recreated of the three girls after they had graduated from high school. So something the unexpected is the best!

Adorable! Sometimes the best photos are the ones where they are not looking at the camera. I love the stitching detail on the clouds. And yep, I am guilty of trying to get photos of the kids when I should be photographing other things, I do it all the time LOL..

I am missing a lot of shots these days because I am trying to be more in the moment and involved in what's going on then behind the camera. And then I look back and miss that I didn't get any pics.
