Small Plea

I saw this owl ring on Marie's blog (that's her hand) and fell in love. She said she got it at Forever 21. We don't have that store in Canada (darn). So I asked my USA sister to pick one up for me - they are only $3.80!!!! But the closest store to her is 3 hours away! Ack!!!

So my plea is this - does anyone live close to a Forever 21? If so, could you pick this up for me and ship it to my sis in the USA? I would reimburse you? Pretty please??? I am obsessed with owl's right now - can ya tell?

I am sooooo FED UP with construction! For the last 2 years there has been construction outside of my house! First, the neighbour across the street decided to build a McMansion that dwarfs all the other houses on the street! That took almost a year of dust and noise and dirt and madness!

Then the city decided to replace the watermain connection to all the houses on our street! Geniuses even busted our gas line and we lived for 2 days without hot water!!! I find workers in my yard trying to use our electricity, water and who knows what else and have to kindly ask them to leave (sometimes I YELL and scare them half to death - hee hee!) Then the city decided to do the rest of the street, from our house the other way!!!! ARGH!!!

NOW, they have decided to repave the entire street and I am being shaken out of my bones! Seriously, my house has been shaken all day because they are using jack hammers and steam rollers and who knows what else!!!! I am ready to scream!!!! I promise though, tomorrow I won't be as nuts about it! In fact, I will be downright grateful when they finish and we have a nice smooth road to drive on! But I swear, if my new neighbours decide to start a construction project I may just turn into Medusa and turn them all to stone!!!! Here is my picture of the day:
