This is another week of Red Writing's Twelve Weeks of Christmas Blog party.
This is the wreath that the girls and I made last year. They kept piling on the tongue depressors and pushing them around so we got an odd shape! I think they liked the painting the best.
This year I was inspired to make my own paper wreath. I'd seen the loopy ones and googled it and found something I liked even better.
I got impatient with the glue stick step (didn't want to take the time to hold the darn things together until they were glued) so i used mini glue dots. I also added a step and inked the edges of all the petals before I formed them into flowers (that took a LOT of time). Here's a close up!
I loved how this turned out so much I made 3 more to go elsewhere.
These are time consuming but addicting - they'd make great gifts too!
