This is another week of Red Writing's Twelve Weeks of Christmas Blog party. If you want to participate or just see other's entries, just click on the button on my sidebar!
This is the wreath that the girls and I made last year. They kept piling on the tongue depressors and pushing them around so we got an odd shape! I think they liked the painting the best.
This year I was inspired to make my own paper wreath. I'd seen the loopy ones and googled it and found something I liked even better.
You can find the tutorial on how to make them HERE! on the Fancy Pants website
I got impatient with the glue stick step (didn't want to take the time to hold the darn things together until they were glued) so i used mini glue dots. I used the Making Memories new Mistletoe line of paper and Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses buttons! I also added a step and inked the edges of all the petals before I formed them into flowers (that took a LOT of time)
Here's a close up!
I loved how this turned out so much I made 3 more to go elsewhere.
These are time consuming but addicting - they'd make great gifts too!
Can't wait to see all your wreaths!

PS - One lucky follower, who comments on this post, will receive one of these mini wreath ornaments from me! I'll draw the winner next week and put it on that TWOC post!
You can make your own by watching Shalee's video here!

Wow, these are amazing, they look like something out of a magazine.
Oh wow, you did an amazing job on these, I'm working on my Christmas one now...but...It's getting to me, The Halloween one was much easier for some reason??? Weird.
Oh my gosh, LOVE your wreaths! Way to go! That's a lot of work!
Thanks for rating my wreath!! I did wrap the burlap around the foam ring and then tied a double knot in the burlap. And just a hint, if you try to unwrap a burlap strip, you might as well throw it away, it gets pretty shredded! lol
I hope you make a burlap one! would love to see it if you did!
